Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced fabrication specialist to operate and program CNC press brakes and punch presses, performing delicate multi-bend operations and optimizing material use. The role requires strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and CAD/CAM programming capabilities within a high-precision environment.

Lead and train junior operators, coordinate with maintenance, and uphold stringent QA/QC standards. Candidates should be capable of overtime and occasional weekend shifts in Lincoln, NE.

Qualifications

• Technical certification in metal fabrication or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CNC control systems.
• Advanced mathematical and geometric calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC press brakes and punch presses.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment as listed (Trumpf, Amada or similar).
• Perform complex multi-bend operations and optimize punch sequences.
• Train junior operators and support maintenance.
• Ensure quality documentation and first article inspections.
