Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear in Clarksville, TX is seeking a production machinist to setup and operate multi-axis turning and milling cells. Tasks include reading process sheets and blueprints, loading heavy parts with crane, ensuring fixtures are properly installed, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions written in English
• Must be able to lift and move heavy items
• Basic machining knowledge and general mechanical aptitude preferred
• Able to stand for the full 8-hour shift

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend multi-axis turning/milling cells
• Maneuver heavy parts with crane
• Install, align, and lock dies, punches, blades, or fixtures
• Maintain clean and safe work area and check tolerances
• Work in multiple areas or departments as assigned
• Third Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am (Sun–Thu)
