Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a CNC Operator I to operate manual and CNC machines to produce components per specifications, either as finished parts or subassemblies for larger assemblies. The role requires attention to detail, basic CNC understanding, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of machining principles and CNC operations.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in CNC machining.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.
• Positions parts using fastening devices.
• Operates hand-held, electrical and pneumatic tools.
• Uses lift equipment as needed.
• Uses precision measuring tools as required.
• Recognizes material types and adjusts equipment as needed.
• Identifies worn tooling and changes machine as required.
• Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspections.
• Reports defects or nonconformities to the Department Lead.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Completes paperwork including in-process or production sheets.
