Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION - CLEARWATER, LLC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator Level I for a night shift schedule (Mon–Thu 3:15p–1:45a with a second shift differential). The role requires operating multiple CNC machines, reading blueprints, and using CMMs and precision tools to ensure tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years machining experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency in CNC programming, GD&T, and CAD interpretation.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years machining experience, preferably in high-precision or military environment.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in operating and programming CNC machines.
• Able to read blueprints, technical drawings and CAD models.
• Able to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Operate a minimum of two types of CNC equipment.
• Train/mentor Level I operators as needed.
• Run multiple machines to meet parts-per-hour targets.
• Read M codes and basic G codes; replace tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot fixtures and out-of-tolerance dimensions with CMM or inspection tools.
• Collaborate with leads/engineers to improve setups and efficiency.
• All other duties as assigned.
