Relativity Space is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to join the Stage Manufacturing team in Long Beach. You will set up and run CNC machines with FANUC controls, read detailed blueprints, and ensure dimensional accuracy on critical parts for Terran R structures.

With 2+ years of production experience, you will optimize tool offsets, monitor process parameters, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive quality and throughput.

Competenze

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in production environments.
• Hands-on with FANUC controls for programs and offsets.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings and use basic measuring tools.
• Experience working with aluminum, steel, or stainless materials.
• Familiarity with cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and workholding.
• Capable of following instructions and collaborating in a team.
• High school diploma or GED; technical machining training preferred.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate CNC machines with FANUC controls per drawings.
• Load tools, set offsets, and verify correct programs.
• Read blueprints and GD&T symbols to understand requirements.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with calipers and micrometers.
• Monitor offsets, feeds, speeds, and adjust for quality and cycle time.
• Identify issues (tool wear, chatter, drift) and communicate with senior staff.
