Kennametal Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator II to run and program multiple machines to produce parts per blueprint specifications. Operates 3rd or 2nd shift with hours from 10:45pm to 7:15am or other shifts as described.

This role requires loading/off-loading, gaging, inspecting, and adjusting programs via HMI interfaces. Training new operators and troubleshooting machine issues are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• 2 year technical degree preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and operating CNC machines.

Responsabilités

• Program, set-up and operate multiple machines using blueprints or specifications.
• Complete complex computer controlled setup using the HMI to adjust programs or machines.
• Load and off-load product from multiple machines.
• Gage product to ensure proper dimensions.
• Inspect product to verify visual characteristics and defects.
• Train new operators when required.
• Trouble shoot quality and machine issues from moderate to complex.
