Job summary

Kennametal Stellite Inc. in Virginia is seeking a CNC Operator II for the 3rd shift (10:45pm–7:15am) or 2nd shift to run and program multiple machines to blueprint specifications. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, perform complex setup via HMI, load/unload parts, and inspect to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Training of new operators and ongoing safety compliance are part of the role. Work environment includes PPE usage, variable temperatures, and potential noise exposure as you contribute

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate CNC machines and read blueprints.
• Experience with quality inspection and dimensional gauging.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Program, set-up and operate multiple machines using blueprints or specifications.
• Load and off-load product from multiple machines and ensure proper routing.
• Gage product to ensure proper dimensions and inspect for defects.
• Record inspection results and maintain tooling for machines.
• Train new operators when required.
• Troubleshoot quality and machine issues from moderate to complex.
