Job summary

Kennametal Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator I for the 2nd shift to run multiple machines and produce parts to blueprint specifications. You will set up, load, inspect, and trouble-shoot equipment to ensure quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

The role includes a $2.00/hour shift premium for 2nd shift, comprehensive benefits from day one, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match. Previous experience with HMI and CNC machines is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED; a 2 year technical degree is preferred.
• Experience with CNC machines and HMI interfaces is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple CNC machines and adjust programs on the HMI.
• Load and off-load product from machines and inspect for dimensions.
• Gage product to ensure accuracy and document inspection results.
• Identify defects and troubleshoot machine or process issues.
• Train new operators when required.
