Job summary

Kennametal Inc. seeks a CNC Operator I for 2nd shift to run multiple machines to blueprint specifications and perform quality inspections. You will set up, load/off-load, inspect parts, and document results following process standards.

Benefits include a $2/hr shift premium, medical/dental/vision, PTO and holidays, 401(k) match, and tooling allowances. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple machines using the HMI to adjust programs.
• Load and off-load product from multiple machines.
• Gage product to ensure proper dimensions and inspect visually for defects.
• Scope product to verify characteristics and defects.
• Check samples with inspection tools and record results.
• Place product into racks; separate scrap and good parts; document.
• Scan production information accurately.
• Maintain tooling used in machines.
• Train new operators when required.
• Troubleshoot quality and machine issues from moderate to complex.
