Typical hours 4PM - 2:30AM / Monday - Friday

Night Shift employees receive Night Shift Premium of 10%

Location:General Die & Engineering, an ArtiFlex family company, 6500 Clay Avenue SW, Grand Rapids, MI (US 131 and 68th Street area)

GD&E, an Artiflex family company, is hiring a Night Shift Machine Operator to run our Gun Drill machine. Opportunity may exist to help with other machines. Our environment is a high-mix / low - volume shop. If you thrive on precision, challenge, and variety, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate our Gun Drill machine
• Operate CNC equipment, to machine tight-tolerance parts withquality as a top priority
• Perform setups and validate work using precision inspection tools
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency

Types of Other Machines we have in our shop:

• Horizontal CNC Mills
• Vertical CNC Mills
• 5-Axis CNC Mills
• EDM Sinker Machines
• Carbon Machining Equipment

You May Be A Great Fit If You Have:

• Machining experience, preferably in a die shop or tooling environment
• Strong knowledge ofmeasuring and inspection tools
• Proven commitment tohigh-quality workmanship
• Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience running a gun drill is desired.
