Gaishin Manufacturing in Grand Rapids seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to operate Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes, producing precision parts for aerospace, medical, and defense industries.

You will read blueprints, perform in-process inspections with calipers and micrometers, and follow GD&T and quality standards. Join a team that values safety, reliability, and strong workmanship on a 4-day workweek.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC operation experience with Swiss-style preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T requirements.
• Comfort with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and basic quality checks.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss-style and Mill/Turn CNC lathes to produce precision parts.
• Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and GD&T requirements.
• Monitor equipment and elevate set-up or machine issues when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following quality, production, and safety standards.
• Provide clear shift handoffs and work as part of the team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

EXPERIENCE THAT STANDS OUT
