Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing, Inc. seeks a skilled Machinist to program on-the-floor and operate CNC equipment in our Grand Rapids, MI shop. You’ll work with WorkNC, set up parts, and use precision inspection tools to ensure tight tolerances in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC machining experience, preferably in a die shop or tooling environment.
• On-floor programming experience using WorkNC or similar CAM software.
• Strong knowledge of measuring and inspection tools.
• Proven commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Carbon machining and EDM sinker experience (preferred).

Location: General Die & Engineering, an ArtiFlex family company, 6500 Clay Avenue SW, Grand Rapids, MI

GD&E, an Artiflex family company, is hiring a CNC Machinist. You will help craft die cast dies, plastic injection molds, and stamping die components in a low-volume, high-mix environment. If you thrive on precision, challenge, and variety—this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Program on the shop floor using WorkNC
• Operate CNC equipment to machine tight-tolerance parts with quality as a top priority
• Perform setups and validate work using precision inspection tools
