Job summary

Cardinal Staffing Services in Sterling Heights, MI seeks CNC Operators for an automotive stamping facility. You will work in a fast-paced environment across areas including CNC loading, coil changes, offsets, and program changeovers.

Experience in automotive manufacturing is required. You must troubleshoot CNC horizontal/vertical mills and lathes, set up tools, and keep pace with production needs. Overtime is available weekly; shifts are listed below.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years CNC loading experience required.
• Perform coil changes.
• Make offsets and program changeovers.
• Advanced knowledge of machining fundamentals; turning and milling.
• Troubleshoot on CNC horizontal/vertical mill and lathe; perform setups and tool changes.
• Maintain pace with production needs.
• Willingness to cross-train on various processes, machines and products.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment in a fast-paced automotive stamping facility.
• Troubleshoot CNC milling and turning equipment and perform setups.
• Change over tools and adjust offsets as required.
• Monitor production flow and quality, maintaining efficiency.
• Work independently and demonstrate proactive problem-solving attitude.

CNC Operators

Cardinal Staffing Services, is hiring for CNC Operators in Sterling Heights, MI.

As a CNC Operator for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will work in a fast-paced automotive stamping facility in all areas including:

• 2-3 years CNC Loading Experience
• Preforming coil changes
• Make offsets/changes and program changeover
• Advanced knowledge of machining fundamentals; turning and milling is Required
• Troubleshoot on the CNC horizontal and vertical mill, lathe and perform setups and tool changes
• Keeping pace with production needs
• Willingness to be cross trained on various processes, machines, and products.

Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is required!

This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation of $17.00-$17.85 per hour. Generous referral and attendance bonuses are available.

Available shifts: 1st shift (5am-3:30pm) 2nd shift (4pm-2:30am) Overtime is available weekly
