Job summary
Cardinal Staffing Services in Sterling Heights, MI seeks CNC Operators for an automotive stamping facility. You will work in a fast-paced environment across areas including CNC loading, coil changes, offsets, and program changeovers.
Experience in automotive manufacturing is required. You must troubleshoot CNC horizontal/vertical mills and lathes, set up tools, and keep pace with production needs. Overtime is available weekly; shifts are listed below.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years CNC loading experience required.
- Perform coil changes.
- Make offsets and program changeovers.
- Advanced knowledge of machining fundamentals; turning and milling.
- Troubleshoot on CNC horizontal/vertical mill and lathe; perform setups and tool changes.
- Maintain pace with production needs.
- Willingness to cross-train on various processes, machines and products.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC equipment in a fast-paced automotive stamping facility.
- Troubleshoot CNC milling and turning equipment and perform setups.
- Change over tools and adjust offsets as required.
- Monitor production flow and quality, maintaining efficiency.
- Work independently and demonstrate proactive problem-solving attitude.
