Job summary

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc in Decatur, AL is seeking a CNC Nesting Programmer to create nesting programs for hardware and shells in plate and coil production, and enter them into ERP for consumption.

You will collaborate with production control to schedule production, verify and stage materials, and uphold strict safety, housekeeping, and quality standards in all tasks. Experience with ProNest, Alma CAM, AutoCAD, and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ProNest, Alma CAM, or similar CNC nesting software proficiency.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create nesting programs for hardware and shells in plate and coil production.
• Enter nesting programs into ERP software for consumption.
• Collaborate with production control to schedule production flow.
• Verify and stage raw materials and consumables used for production.
• Uphold safety policies, housekeeping standards and safe work practices at all times.
