Job summary

Klein Tools is recruiting for a Manufacturing Team Member III in Texas. The role focuses on setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machinery, inspecting parts for quality, and following precise work instructions to meet production standards.

You'll troubleshoot machinery, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with team members to support lean manufacturing and 6S standards in a fast-paced environment. The company offers robust benefits and relocation-ready scheduling.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience required; one year may be eligible with tenure.
• Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, or injection molding machines preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
• Ability to demonstrate basic math and computer skills and perform visual quality inspections.
• Ability to learn, problem-solve, and follow work instructions and documents.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust multi-axis CNC machines and semi-automated equipment.
• Inspect product quality using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; log downtime and shift communications.
• Read work orders and blueprints to verify specifications and BOM accuracy.
• Perform offsets and adjust machine feed/speed to maintain part quality; escalate complex issues.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, replace tooling, and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Set up machines including fixtures, tooling, dies, and loading programs.
• Rotate across machines and work areas to support lean manufacturing and 6S standards.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
