Job summary

Maxcess International is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines for production orders according to customer specs. You will ensure correct tooling and programs are installed, adjust speeds/feeds, and monitor runs to maintain part conformance.

You will measure parts with micrometers and calipers, prioritize tasks, and keep the work area clean and safe while supporting energy conservation and waste reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNC machining experience or trade school preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for production runs.
• Ensure proper tooling and programs are installed for jobs.
• Adjust feed and speed, tooling, or controls when programming or machines fail.
• Monitor production and adjust programs as necessary.
• Calculate speed, feed ratio, and cut dimensions.
• Use micrometers and calipers to verify finished parts.
• Prioritize work according to leads instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Wear PPE and comply with safety rules.
• Promote energy conservation and proper waste disposal.
• Perform other duties to meet department and company goals.
