Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• 6 months – 1-year related experience or training.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and process sheets.
• Strong math skills and ability to calculate feeds and speeds.
• Must complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate vertical milling machinery to production standards.
• Inspect parts against prints; deburr as needed.
• Interpret drawings, process sheets and shop orders for sequence.
• Select, mount, and verify tools for accuracy and speed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines.
