Job summary

Clark-Reliance is seeking a CNC Set-Up/Operator (1st shift) to set up and run multi-axis CNC centers, read blueprints, select tools, and ensure parts meet spec. The role reports to the Machining Supervisor and runs 7:00am–3:30pm in Strongsville, OH.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of machining experience, a CNC certificate preferred, and a commitment to safety and quality under ISO standards.

Qualifications

• One to three years related machining experience.
• CNC certificate preferred.
• Able to read simple blueprints and technical specifications.
• Ability to read and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines under supervision.
• Select cutting tools, tool grades, and speeds/feeds from programming docs.
• Fill in details from blueprints and schematics.
• Inspect parts and perform basic quality checks (e.g., SPC).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors and suppliers.
