KLA Industries in Barkhamsted, CT, is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Operator to produce precision aerospace components, reading blueprints and ensuring quality through in-process inspections.

You will operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling centers, verify parts with micrometers, calipers, and swing gauges, and lift up to 50 pounds. Daily responsibilities include maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC milling operator experience.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating vertical, horizontal mills and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, swing gauges, calipers, and other inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC milling equipment, performing quality inspections, and producing precision-machined components while meeting strict aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.

• Operate vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers.

• Run 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.

• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

• Verify parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Night Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
