Job summary

Verus Aerospace seeks an experienced CNC Machinist II to operate and optimize CNC milling cells for aerospace components built from aluminum and titanium. You will set up fixtures, read blueprints, measure parts with precision tools, and troubleshoot issues to ensure parts meet engineering specs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in CNC milling, familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controls, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible CNC milling experience; aerospace preferred.
• Must read and interpret blueprints/drawings with basic math and geometry knowledge.
• Ability to follow work orders and setup instructions precisely.
• Experience operating Fanuc and Siemens CNC controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce aerospace parts, primarily aluminum and titanium.
• Setup machines with fixtures and tooling for new part numbers with minimal supervision.
• Take precise measurements using gauges, calipers, indicators, and micrometers.
• Troubleshoot setup and in-process machining issues; adjust controls when needed.
• Maintain clean work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
