Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to set up, operate, and optimize Fanuc-controlled mills and Haas machines to produce high-precision components. You will verify dimensions, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production records in an AS9100/compliant environment.

The role requires 2–3 years of CNC milling experience, ability to read complex drawings with GD&T, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Day shift; competitive pay in California.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; AAS in Machining preferred.
• 2–3 years CNC milling experience in precision manufacturing, aerospace/defense preferred.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines and Fanuc control.
• Knowledge of G-code/M-code programming and GD&T reading.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and maintaining production records.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills with fixture installation and tooling setup.
• Verify programs and perform first-piece inspection prior to production.
• Machine and inspect complex components to tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints and GD&T, ensuring adherence to drawings.
• Troubleshoot tooling, program, and process issues to improve quality and cycle time.
• Maintain production, quality, and inspection records in ERP/MRP systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to implement process improvements.
