  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to quality standards using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of milling equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and CAD files to accurately assemble custom tools.
  • Lifting and handling of wood, metal pieces and tooling.
  • Able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

About the Role:

The Milling Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining milling equipment to cut/modify various types of steels & aluminum. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that all products meet exact specifications and quality standards. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, selecting appropriate tools, and monitoring the milling process to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. Collaboration with quality control and maintenance teams is essential to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth production flow. The Milling Operator contributes to the overall success of the manufacturing operation by delivering high quality products on time and adhering to safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating milling machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and machining processes.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

  • Completion of a technical or vocational program in machining or manufacturing technology.
