Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Milling Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform precision machining operations.
2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
3. Load raw materials into machines and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy.
4. Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as needed to maintain tolerances.
5. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
6. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining.
• Proven experience operating CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis).
• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control procedures.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Document production data and complete quality control reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
