Job Overview

Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

A Day In The Life

1. Perform tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
2. Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality.
3. Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
4. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and timely.
5. Suggest improvements to supervisors related to assigned work.
6. Maintain a clean and orderly work area per Hubbell’s 6S policy.
7. Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
8. Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
9. Assist management in keeping supplies on order.
10. Inspect own work for conformity to standards.
11. Assist in other areas as necessary.
12. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
13. Wear all required PPE for the work area.
