Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to run production on milling/grinding, induction, and related semi-automated equipment. You will perform setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting while ensuring product quality and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities include reading work orders and blueprints, inspecting parts with micrometers and calipers, and documenting downtime and quality findings.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience is required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
• Ability to perform basic math and use measuring tools.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Run production jobs on CNC milling/grinding, induction, assembly, or other semi-automated equipment.
• Inspect product quality throughout the production run using measuring tools.
• Read work orders and blueprints to verify specs and bill of materials.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate defects to staff.
• Perform routine set-ups, changeovers, and adjustments to meet specs.
• Document parts counts, downtime, and labor hours in logs and paperwork.
• Adhere to 6S standards and lean manufacturing activities.
• Cross-train by rotating to different machines and areas.
