Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CNC Mill / Tool & Die Maintenance Technician to support tooling maintenance and die repair for our Forging and Tooling departments. The role requires operating CNC and manual milling equipment, preparing tooling, polishing tools, and repairing dies to meet production needs.

You will follow blueprints and instructions, maintain heat-code traceability, support safety standards, and participate in audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of CNC milling experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documents and written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, visitors, and contractors.
• Ability to prepare routine reports and written correspondence.
• Ability to work an off-shift schedule.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC milling equipment to support tooling maintenance, repair, and production requirements.
• Repair dies, tools, jigs, and related equipment used in die making, tool making, and process development.
• Prepare, assemble, and polish tooling to support the Forging Department.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, routers, and other documents.
• Follow Engineering and Quality Control instructions to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain heat-code traceability and mark materials with heat codes.
• Monitor material conditions, process parameters, and equipment performance; report deviations.
