Job summary

ARCH-Minneapolis is looking for experienced Set Up Machinists to join our Weekend Day Shift team. Produce machined parts by setting up, programming and operating a Mill CNC machine, while maintaining quality and safety standards and keeping records.

Responsibilities include setting up parts, changing tools and tool offsets, inspecting parts, and documenting work orders. The role requires the ability to operate multiple machines and perform preventive maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• ITAR US person status required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up parts in CNC machines without assistance or supervision.
• Change tools, adjust heights and tool comps to maintain required quality output of machine.
• Inspect products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet specifications, complying with established standards.
• Follow all job work order instructions.
• Must be able to run more than one machine where cycle time permits.
• Complete all required shop floor documentation for the job including both part-dimensional and visual inspection.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
