Job summary

ARCH Global Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Horizontal Mill Set Up Machinist for the Weekend Day Shift in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on setting up and programming CNC mills, ensuring quality and safety, maintaining records, and running multiple machines as required.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, ITAR eligibility, CNC programming/editing experience, and strong math and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ITAR U.S. person status required (citizenship/residency).
• Experience editing CNC programs is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints with GD&T tolerancing preferred.
• Strong math background and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up parts in CNC machines without assistance or supervision.
• Change tools, adjust heights and tool offsets to maintain quality output.
• Inspect parts during machining to ensure specifications meet standards.
• Follow work order instructions and maintain shop records.
• Operate and monitor multiple machines where cycle time allows.
• Complete required shop floor documentation for parts and inspections.
• Maintain equipment via preventive maintenance and reporting needs to management.
