Qualifications

• Knowledge of calipers and gauges to measure parts accurately.
• Strong machining knowledge across materials and processes.
• Knowledge of metals, part-holding fixtures, and mill tooling.
• Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines, perform daily PM and keep workspace clean.
• Run programs for face milling, end milling, drilling, tapping, and gear cutting.
• Read blueprints and route instructions to make parts to spec.
• Set up machines for full production runs from low to high volumes.
• Monitor quality, maintain offsets, and adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot programs and machining issues as they arise.
• Inspect parts with precision tools and GD&T per specs.
• Improve setup time and keep machines running efficiently.
• Communicate with supervisors and teams about assignments and nonconformance.
• Record issues and updates for smooth shift handoffs.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE throughout shift.
• Complete daily maintenance checks.
