Job summary

EIMCo is seeking a CNC/Machine Operator to produce parts to specification in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role requires following Shop Traveler instructions, maintaining records in ERP, and ensuring quality per the EIMCo Quality Manual.

Candidates should have a mechanical background and be able to perform preventive maintenance while maintaining clean work areas. Responsibilities include machine assignment coordination, daily production records, safety compliance, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Mechanical background and machine operating experience are helpful.
• A willingness to learn and be trained on the EIMCo manufacturing process.
• General skills with hand and power tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask on a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Check with the designated lead person on machine assignment and job assignment.
• Discuss the machine's performance with current operators from the preceding shift and any possible difficulties encountered during the shift.
• Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications and within acceptable production requirements.
• Unload and package parts according to EIMCo standards and customer requirements.
• Complete accurate daily records (date, time, quantities of parts ran, and scrap) for every job worked on, on Shop Travelers and in the ERP system.
• Follow instructions from all EIMCo documentation, including Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.
• Inform quality control, shift supervisor/ lead person of any problems or concerns with parts.
• Accept responsibility for the quality of products/services provided and perform all required inspections under the EIMCo Quality Manual.
• Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment, watch and listen for abnormal conditions, and immediately report any concerns to maintenance and/or shift supervisor/lead.
• Maintain the assigned work area clean and orderly and comply with all 5S procedures.
• Safely conduct all tasks and behaviors and comply with all EIMCO Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, as outlined in the EIMCo Safety Manual.
• Maintain all required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
