Job summary

EIMCo in Farley, Iowa, is seeking a CNC Lathes Operator for 2nd shift to produce parts to specifications on CNC machines and ensure production targets are met.

You will follow shop travelers, inspect parts, document data in the ERP, and maintain a clean 5S workplace while adhering to safety policies.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred; prior manufacturing experience helps, and training is provided to learn the EIMCo process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Formal education or experience may be substituted with training when competency in the position is demonstrated.
• Mechanical background and machine operating experience are helpful.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on the EIMCo manufacturing process.
• General skills with hand and power tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Check machine and job assignments with lead person.
• Produce parts on CNC machines per specifications.
• Unload and package parts per EIMCo standards and customer requirements.
• Complete accurate daily records for every job in the ERP system.
• Inform quality control and supervisor of any problems or concerns with parts.
• Maintain the 5S workplace and safety practices.
