We are looking for a CNC Mill Machinist to join our Avalign Integrated Medical Solutions team in Mentor, OH. The CNC Mill Machinist operates conventional, special purposes, and numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate parts according to customer specification.

What You'll Do:

  • Independently perform daily machine preventative maintenance (P.M.’s) activities
  • Accurately and consistently document all performed tasks on appropriate records (First Piece Inspection log, work orders, maintenance logs, etc.)
  • Inspect documents for previously completed operation sign off and verify part counts before beginning any manufacturing operation
  • Follow established protocol to maintain ID & traceability of product and documentation
  • Independently operate CNC machines as assigned
  • Train on the different tool changes, settings, changeovers, and size changes
  • Frequently use handheld measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers to inspect machined parts
  • Perform offsets on machine tooling

What You'll Need:

  • 1 year of relevant experience operating a CNC machine
  • Epicor login and use
  • Full understanding of the machine matrix
  • Understanding and use of setup sheets
  • Understanding of the line clearance process
  • Basic blueprint reading
