Description

This position will require the team members to accurately and efficiently machine parts according to print by choosing the appropriate sequence of operations and executing the best setup to meet blueprint dimensions and tolerances.

This position will require the team members to accurately and efficiently machine parts according to print by choosing the appropriate sequence of operations and executing the best setup to meet blueprint dimensions and tolerances.

Essential Functions

• Set up machines and operate a large Horizontal, Vertical and/or Boring Mill.
• Perform daily equipment start-up and clean-up of equipment.
• Experience using manual tools; Dial Calipers, Dial indicators, and OD/ID Mics to verify dimensions.
• Experience reading and machining from blueprints.
  
  

Requirements

Competencies and Experience Needed:

• 3 – 5 years of machining experience required.
• Employee must adhere to the company's core values.
• Fork-lift experience preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of and experience working with alloy steel.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints & BOM’s.
• Detail-oriented, demonstrated a high level of accuracy, and work safely.
