Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Mill Machinist) for 2nd shift to operate 3, 4, and 5‑axis milling machines, VTLs, and grinders.

You will interpret blueprints, modify programs, and ensure parts meet exact specifications with precision tools and CMM measurement. The role requires setup and operation of complex CNC equipment, adherence to AS9100/NADCAP standards, and collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC Machining certificate preferred or work experience cited.
• U.S. person as defined by ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines including 3,4,5 axis milling and Lathes.
• Upload/download/edit CNC programs as needed.
• Interpret blueprints and process sheets to meet specs.
• Perform first piece, in-process and final inspections with calipers, micrometers, CMM.
• Maintain documentation in ERP system and update travelers.
