Job summary

Hi-Tek Manufacturing Inc is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for 2nd shift in Mason, OH. You will set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines, inspect parts, and ensure they meet tight tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and CMM as required.

You will work under the Manufacturing Supervisor across multiple departments, with generous shift differential on 2nd shift and a comprehensive benefits package. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNC machining certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Okuma controls is a plus.
• Experience with G & M codes preferred.
• Strong math skills including shop math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines, VTLs, horizontal lathes, creep feed and 5 axis grinders.
• Upload/download and edit CNC programs as required.
• Analyze and interpret op sheets, blueprints, and travelers to meet specs.
• Verify finished workpieces meet customer specs using precision tools and CMM.
• Maintain CNC knowledge of G and M codes and tool offsets.
• Document actions in control charts and ERP system.
• Follow safety, quality procedures and NADCAP/AS9100 standards.
• Operate overhead crane when necessary.
