rms Company is seeking a skilled CNC milling operator in Minnesota to produce precision components in a clean, climate-controlled shop. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and perform frequent micrometer-based inspections while documenting production and quality data.

The role emphasizes accurate measurement, tool changes, and collaboration with teammates to meet production and quality targets in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Operator experience with Milling CNC machines.
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using a microscope.
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machining or quality issues; complete preventative maintenance to support safe and consistent machine performance.
• Perform visual inspections using microscopes as required; use micrometers, calipers, and pressure micrometers for measurements.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T; perform tool changes and maintain part quality.
