Job summary

Mission Critical Group is seeking a Metal Shop Technician- Press Brake Operator on the production floor to fabricate parts by operating CNC punch and break presses, loading materials, and ensuring quality. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and work with the CNC team to meet schedules, safety standards, and customer expectations.

This hourly, non-exempt role demands strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sheet metal fabrication or CNC operator experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Strong mechanical skills and basic computer skills.
• Safety-conscious with adherence to PPE and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate punch and break presses to cut holes or bend materials.
• Load materials, secure them, and select tooling per job.
• Follow CNC programs and adjust controls to correct errors.
• Measure finished parts with calipers to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with setup.
• Collaborate with CNC team and foremen to meet schedules.
