Job summary

KCC Companies is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to set up and operate a CNC press brake, bend sheet metal to drawing specifications, and verify dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and other gauges. You will read drawings, perform quality checks, and maintain tooling per procedure.

Responsibilities include routine machine maintenance, following safety policies, and reporting issues to the Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Metal forming training or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to read part drawings and understand tolerance requirements.
• Proficiency with measuring devices (vernier calipers, micrometer, protractor).
• Capable of setting up and operating a CNC press brake and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the brake press to bend sheet metal per drawings.
• Use measuring tools to verify part tolerance and quality.
• Perform daily maintenance on machine and tooling as required.
• Read work instructions and print/routers for the job.
• Maintain a safe work area and follow safety protocols.
