ProSearch Recruiting Partners, an independent MRINetwork franchise, seeks a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites, commission and integrate CNC laser fabrication equipment, troubleshoot issues and provide technical solutions.

Must live within 50 miles of a major airport. Salary is $33.00–$45.00 per hour DOE with benefits including medical, vision, 401k match, disability, and 15 days PTO to start. Industry experience in metalworking and CNC laser systems is preferred.

ProSearch Recruiting Partners, an independent franchise of MRINetwork specializing in recruitment for factory automation OEMs and integrators, is recruiting for a world-leading manufacturer of CNC machinery, machining centers, and automation systems, including laser cutting and metal fabrication machinery. The manufacturer is expanding its field service team nationwide.

This direct-hire Field Service Technician role involves traveling to customer sites to commission and integrate equipment, troubleshoot issues, repairing equipment, and provide technical solutions.

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for

• Supporting the sales staff in servicing company CNC laser fabrication equipment
• Providing solutions for service of equipment for customers at the customer site
• Carefully and accurately documenting all service performed on the equipment as well as what service needs are to be accomplished on the equipment in the future
• Maintaining excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
• Demonstrating applicable company software capabilities to the customer
• Preparing timesheets, service reports and installation forms, timely and accurately
• Accurately tracking expenses and completing expense reports in a timely manner
• Maintaining a safe work environment and operate within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines
• Communicating with other departments as necessary
• Ability to work overtime as required by workload and customer necessity
• Other duties as assigned by management

The Field Service Technician will be rewarded with:

The Field Service Technician will excel with:

• Experience troubleshooting, installing, and repairing CNC laser fabrication equipment for metalworking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to effectively use the Internet
• Ability to understand and use I/O structure for technical trouble shooting purposes
• Ability to effectively utilize electric/electronic test/measurement equipment
• Must be able to effectively understand, analyze, and resolve technical mechanical or electrical issues based on measured data results
• Proficient in reading and comprehending technical information as presented in equipment manuals or in electronic media
• Ability to accurately document technical data in terms of the steps taken to resolve equipment and product issues
• Ability to communicate technical issues as well as the steps taken to resolve those issues with the company corporate office
• Proven customer service skills with a primary focus on customer relationships
• Highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Resourceful; able to discern who to call for assistance based on the technical situation at hand
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Effective team player who can work with all levels of team members as well as with all different types and levels of customers
