Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking experienced CNC Field Service Technicians to service metalworking machinery, including CNC lathes, turning centers, and 5-axis machining centers. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair sophisticated CNC equipment at customer sites, requiring strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial CNC systems.

Travel is extensive (80%+), and an associate degree or technical certification in related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree ortechnical certification in Electrical EngineeringTechnology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience with 5-axis machining center installation, alignment, calibration, and commissioning.
• Experience with Siemens or FANUC CNC controls and advanced diagnostics.
• Previous field service experience with a CNC machine tool OEM or authorized distributor.
• Experience supporting high-precision, multi-axis, or automated machining systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine alignments, calibrations, inspections, and precision adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Support machine installations, startup, testing, and operational verification; apply troubleshooting best practices.
• Provide technical support and communicate service findings to customers and internal management.
• Direct experience with CNC lathes, turning centers, 5-axis machining centers is required.
• Familiarity with CNC control systems such as Siemens, FANUC, Heidenhain, Mitsubishi, or similar platforms.
• Travel extensively, 80%+, including overnight and extended assignments.
