Job summary

Talnt is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide hands‑on support for CNC machining, tooling, and production processes. The role involves developing and documenting methods, procedures, and workflows to improve manufacturing readiness and efficiency.

You will troubleshoot complex machining issues, support setups and prove‑outs, and collaborate with quality and engineering to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET or CNC technician in precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Onsite full‑time work in a regulated environment.
• Experience with quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on manufacturing engineering support for CNC machining and production operations.
• Develop, document and improve manufacturing methods and setup procedures.
• Support CNC machine setups, prove‑outs and production readiness.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze problems and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Guide machinists and production staff on machining processes and quality requirements.
• Assist with new product introductions and transfer of components to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering to meet drawings and tolerances.
• Identify opportunities to improve cycle time, productivity and tooling performance.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and drive continuous improvement.
