Job summary
Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician to support manufacturing operations through CNC programming, process improvement, troubleshooting, and engineering project support. This role collaborates with production teams to boost efficiency, maintain quality, and drive continuous improvement.
Onsite in a heavy industrial setting, the engineer will assist with CAD-based design projects, document control, and supplier collaboration, ensuring tooling and processes meet
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years CNC programming or manufacturing support experience in a production environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with CNC programming, code review, and process optimization to improve production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime.
- Inspect and verify parts meet quality and specification requirements.
- Evaluate tooling performance and recommend cost saving improvements.
- Support manufacturing process improvements that enhance quality, productivity, and reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and engineering records.
- Assist with CAD-based design projects and engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams on equipment, tooling, and process improvements.
