Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC manufacturing experience in an MRP environment.
• Ability to negotiate price, delivery, and terms to meet quality and schedule.
• Raw material and machined parts knowledge via distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Manage and source machined/fabricated parts.
• Group CNC required parts by manufacturing processes.
• Group suppliers by machining capabilities (travel sizes, chuck sizes, grinding/turning).
• Quote new/existing parts; set up Inventory Part, Purchase Part, and Supplier data in ERP.
• Negotiate with suppliers for cost and lead time reductions.
• Analyze parts by annual usage for negotiations.
• Create contracts with suppliers.
• Track OTD, quality and SCARs with suppliers.
• Identify, research, and negotiate cost/lead time reductions.
• Handle back charges and supplier rework processing.
