Qualifications

• Proficient in CNC machine operation and setup.
• Strong knowledge of G and M codes and manual programming acceptable.
• Experience with CAM software such as CATIA/Mastercam.
• CAD experience including 2D/3D modeling.
• Able to interpret drawings and specs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs for CNC machining of metal parts.
• Define cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and sequences.
• Validate programs via simulations and first-run tests.
• Revise programs to fix errors and improve performance.
• Coordinate with operators to optimize cycle times.
• Review customer drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Manage data in the DNC/networked environment.
• Troubleshoot post-processor issues with CAM provider as needed.
