Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC manufacturing experience in a MRP environment.
• Ability to negotiate price, delivery, and terms to meet quality and production schedule.
• Raw material and machined parts knowledge through distribution channels.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and ERP experience (IFS a plus).
• Succeeds in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize MRP/ERP data management and entry functions.
• Group machined parts by manufacturing processes and raw materials.
• Quote new/existing parts and set up data for Inventory, Purchase, and Supplier in ERP.
• Negotiate with suppliers for machined parts by size and tooling requirements.
• Analyze annual usage for negotiating cost and lead time reductions.
• Create contracts with suppliers and track OTD, quality, and SCARs.
• Monitor supplier capacity and load balancing; manage back charges.
