Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering/business/supply chain
• 3–4 years of experience in production planning/scheduling
• Experience with ERP systems; IFS preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
• Good communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work safely with EHS requirements

Responsibilities

• Schedule and release shop orders to meet customer needs and maintain balanced work center loads
• Communicate capacity constraints to management and adjust plans to prevent overloads
• Schedule all shop orders using IFS Scheduling tools
• Maintain production capacity charts and participate in production meetings
• Coordinate outsourcing of shop orders requiring special processing
• Oversee raw materials purchasing for piece parts
• Maintain dashboards and reports such as on-time-delivery charts and weekly load reports
