Job summary
Advanced Pressure Systems, a SHAPE Technologies Group company, in Houston, TX, seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead our CNC machine shop, manufacturing engineering, process control, and capital investment strategy. You will own production execution, safety, quality, and delivery in a high‑mix, tight‑tolerance environment.
You will drive Lean manufacturing, data‑driven decisions, and CAPEX deployment, manage budgets, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Planning to ensure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 10+ years in CNC machining or manufacturing operations.
- 5+ years in leadership roles within a machine shop or high‑mix manufacturing environment.
- Experience with high‑mix, tight‑tolerance manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in OTD, OEE, and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Lead all machine shop operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality production.
- Own and drive manufacturing performance metrics including OTD, OEE, and throughput.
- Direct daily production activities, aligning schedules and resources to meet demand.
- Lead and develop manufacturing engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
