Job summary

SPX FLOW is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Programming to design, improve, and maintain machining processes with a focus on CNC operations and part optimization. This role blends traditional Manufacturing Engineering with hands-on CNC programming to boost efficiency, cut costs, and expand internal capabilities.

You will drive continuous improvement, insourcing efforts, and optimize CNC programs to reduce cycle times, scrap, and external spend while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of two years of manufacturing engineering and/or CNC programming experience in a machining environment.
• Hands-on CNC programming experience in metal machining.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve CNC machining processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Create and update CNC programs for new and existing parts.
• Develop tooling strategies, fixtures, and setup sheets.
• Identify make-part optimization opportunities and insourcing initiatives.
• Support root-cause analysis of machining issues and scrap.
