Job summary

Accelera is seeking a skilled CNC Process Engineer to lead the development and optimization of precision machining workflows. You will program complex components, refine production strategies, and implement innovative solutions to elevate shop floor efficiency.

Responsibilities include designing CNC strategies for multiple machines, optimizing tooling and parameters, and mentoring setup personnel to improve capabilities. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in a precision CNC manufacturing environment.
Proficient with Mastercam or equivalent CNC programming software.
Skilled in 2D/3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks or VISI.
Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, workholding, and tooling.
Ability to read complex drawings with GD&T and specs.
Commitment to continuous improvement and process reliability.

Responsibilities

Design and execute CNC programming strategies for lathes, Swiss turning centers, and milling equipment.
Optimize machining parameters to maximize throughput, extend tool life, and ensure part quality.
Lead transition of new parts from concept and quoting through to production.
Troubleshoot production challenges with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain standardized work instructions for consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate manufacturability and automation.
Provide mentorship to setup personnel and operators.
